Aisling Bea is regarded as one of the most renowned and rich Comedian she was born on the 16th of March 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. After appearing in bit parts in several Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea was able to begin her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on she was in sitcoms and sketch comedy. After she received an award from Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panels, and is becoming a mainstay. Between 2016 and 2017 she was part of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, as well as a participant of the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She was the only female to win So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, is a tribute to her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born on the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who was killed after Bea turned three, was a suicide victim. Bea was informed of his death only at 13 years old. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences of suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and an ex-professional jockey. Her parents were obsessed by racing and horses. When she was a child, Bea worked as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she was not keen on the sport of racing for a profession, but instead was a performer.
